Vince Lombardi, the Famous Coach of the most loved game in America: Football when had to christen the Captain of the team remarked that #Leaders are made and are not born. Leaders are made out of difficulties and challenges they have faced; their charismatic energy, far off vision and strategies. Those who can envision the long term future of the organization are the ones who deserve to stand apart from the crowd.

Following are the 6 skills that make a person a LEADER as desirable and worth appreciation

  1. Listener: Leader is a one who listens not to only the spoken words but even those which are not spoken. Listening to the non verbal cues of the personality helps the leader to look at the depth of what the other person is going through and can also envision what they will be after a particular span of time. Everyone is busy at all times especially more in the organizations but when to prioritize people over tasks is a crucial decision to be taken.
  2. Excellence: A leader is known to carry excellence which means an in depth knowledge and the most updated set of updates of his specialized field of knowledge. Aristotle remarked: Excellence is what we repeatedly do. Thus, it is not an act but a habit.
  3. Action approach: Leaders are full of positive energy who believe in not only just planning but in execution of those plans as well.
