Dr. Navneet Gera organized an academic activity under the International Business Club on “India’s Bilateral Trade Relations with UAE, Oman, and New Zealand” to help students understand global trade dynamics. Students analyzed trade data, key commodities, policy frameworks, and business opportunities, while exploring the strategic importance of these partnerships.
The event was graced by Captain YP Sharma (Retd.), who appreciated the initiative and shared valuable insights. Six teams participated, presenting detailed research on trade volumes, economic ties, and future prospects. The presentations highlighted the UAE as a major trade partner, Oman’s historical ties with India, and emerging opportunities with New Zealand.
Team UAE (Juhi, Samad, Deven, Parv) secured first position, followed by Team Oman (Anushka, Rohan, Sanskar, Prashansa, Gokul) in second place, and another Team UAE (Neha, Sanya, Disha, Adiba, Chahat) in third. Winners were felicitated, and the event concluded successfully, enriching students’ knowledge of international trade and enhancing their research and presentation skills.
