HR Club Event “Extempore Competition" on 16th January 2023
We are delighted to inform you that JIMS Kalkaji is hosting an HR club event on 16th January 2023 at 11 AM in the campus auditorium. A unique extempore competition putting one's knowledge of human resource management at test to allow one to 'speak to lead'. Each team will be given a topic related to human resource management within an organization, through a chit system the topic will be allotted on the spot and time will be given to the team to jot down their points post which the team will speak on the topic for a duration of 2-4 minutes. Marks will be allotted on the basis of quality of content, fluency, confidence and clarity of thought. There will be 2 rounds, the first revolving around a general overview of the topic and the second will include situational examples or references to the corporate world; 3 position certificates along with cash prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.

JIMS in collaboration with FIEO presents the International Trade Seminar scheduled to be held on Monday, 28th November, 2022 in Kalkaji, New Delhi, campus auditorium. The topic of the Seminar is: "India's New Foreign Trade Policy: Issues, Challenges and Prospects in a Fast Changing Global Economic Environment."The topic is most apt as the Covid19 pandemic and Ukraine war have had a devastating effect on International Trade of all countries. NSS-ECO Club of JIMS Kalkaji in collaboration with DGATS CARE Foundation is organizing a Plantation Drive in Connaught Place, Delhi on 24 September 2022 from 3:00 PM onwards to observe World Ozone Day. Student volunteers from JIMS and DGATS Care foundation will be acquiring and planting the saplings in the outer circle park area. The objective of this drive is to create awareness and spread the message of saving our planet Earth. MDP on "Applied Econometrics using Time Series and E-Views" from 18th – 23rd January, 2021

Decision making process in business is normally sustained by the use of quantifiable data. Econometrics is apprehensive with summarizing these relevant data by means of a model. Such econometrics models help to understand the relation between business-related variables and to analyze the promising effects of decisions. With the availability of various time series econometrics tools and user-friendly statistical software, the ability to analyse large amount of data is not only desirable, but a necessity for any professionals. Such techniques and software are usually very complex and confusing for the uninitiated. There are several issues in this process like selection of technique, selection of software, interpretation of results and so forth.
The objective of this programme is to emphasize broad range of techniques for time series data including advanced statistical analysis and key econometric models using E-views and to foster multidisciplinary research in these areas. It also endeavors to facilitate applied learning of these techniques.This program will cover whole gamut of the financial analytics tool of time series data and panel data.
