MDP on “Making of An Effective Quality Assurance Manager” on Mon 6th and Tue 7th May 2019

A Management Development Programme on “Making of An Effective Quality Assurance Manager” was held in JIMS Kalkaji on Mon 6th and Tue 7th May 2019. The sessions were taken by Dr. (Cdr.) Satish Seth, Director General & Professor, JIMS, Kalkaji, Dr. J. K. Batra, Director & Professor, JIMS, Kalkaji and Dr. S. K. Bareja, Professor, JIMS, Kalkaji on quality related topics as Transformational Leadership, Innovation and Creativity, Risk Management, Policy Management, Daily Management and Improvement, Process Management and Customer Service, Quality Concepts, Laboratory Accreditation and ISO/IEC 17025 Requirements and Structural and System Requirements. The participants from different corporate sectors had experienced rich learning and knowledge on Quality Concepts.

JIMS organised a COMMUNITY-BASED CHILD PROTECTION MECHANISMS IN FIROZABAD DISTRICT OF UTTAR PRADESH.

MDP with Big Bazaar

A week-long Management Development Programme (MDP), was conducted by JIMS Kalkaji in association with Big Bazaar for the employees of the latter. The trainees were new entrants as well as Middle level managers. Trainees were trained from different aspects which included the shop floor management of inventory, ensuring quality services to the customers, developing interpersonal skills, knowing and improving emotional intelligence of the managers and others.

MDP on Masterclass for Directors

Dr. Preeti Singh, Professor, JIMS Kalkaji attended an MDP programme on Masterclass for Independent Directors by the Institute of Directors. The primary goal was to increase an understanding of corporate boardroom practices after the changes made in Companies Act 2013. The programme consisted awareness and in-depth understanding of Corporate Board Meetings, Its legal Environment, Leadership, Financial Literacy, Competition Law, and Emerging Role of Independent Director in the Boardroom.

MDP on Foreign Trade Policy

A two day Management Development Programme on " Foreign Trade Policy of India and Procedures & Documentation" was organized in collaboration with Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) The objective of the Programme was to generate awareness regarding the thrust of the new Foreign Trade Policy (2009-2014) announced by Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India in August 2009.

The Programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri J.K.Jain, Chairman, FIEO (Northern Region).

MDP on "Corporate Treasury Management"

An MDP on "Corporate Treasury Management" was conducted by JIMS in PHD House,. Eminent speakers included Mr. Dinesh Vallecha, Chief Manager, Oriental Bank of Commerce, & Mr. Nalind Saxena, Chief Manager, Punjab National Bank. The speakers discussed the key issues like Managing Risk and Leveraging Opportunities, Forex Market Dynamics, Interest Rate Volatility and Hedging.

MDP on "Project Management"

JIMS Kalkaji in association with PHDCCI and KAF, Germany organized an MDP on "Project Management". The technical sessions were conducted, on "Project Planning & Scheduling", "Financial Analysis and Risk Management", "Project Financing" "Building Effective Project Teams". Thirty delegates from SMEs attended the event which was characterized by prolific interaction between faculty and the participants.

MDP on "Managing People Successfully"

JIMS Kalkaji in association with PHDCCI organized an MDP on "Managing People at Work" on The session covered the following topics– “The importance of specific leadership styles and their influence on employee attitudes” “'Managing People – The Ten Commandments” “Managing Conflict' at workplace”
