MDP on High Impact Communication

JIMS successfully organized a Management Development Program (MDP) on the theme “High Impact Communication”, for employees of S. Chand Group aimed at enhancing professional communication skills essential for today’s dynamic corporate environment. The program was conducted by three distinguished resource persons Dr. Harvinder Soni. Dr. Saniya Chawla, Dr. Palak Verma who brought rich academic expertise and practical insights to the sessions. The MDP focused on developing effective verbal and non-verbal communication, active listening, clarity in messaging, professional presence, and strategies to communicate with impact across diverse workplace situations.
Through interactive discussions, real-life examples, and experiential learning activities, participants gained a deeper understanding of how impactful communication influences leadership effectiveness, team collaboration, conflict management, and organizational success. The sessions encouraged self-reflection and practical application, enabling participants to immediately translate learning into their professional roles. The program witnessed active participation and enthusiastic engagement, making it a meaningful learning experience for all attendees. MDP for MCD, Delhi

A two-day Management Development Programme (MDP) was successfully conducted by JIMS Kalkaji for officials of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi on 19th and 20th January 2026, aimed at enhancing digital skills and improving the effective use of productivity tools in daily office work. On Day 1, the session was led by Ms. Jasmeet Kaur, Assistant Professor, PGDM, JIMS Kalkaji, who introduced participants to practical features of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, including pivot tables and dashboards, enabling better data management and visualization. On Day 2, Ms. Sakshi Bhati, Assistant Professor, PGDM, JIMS Kalkaji, covered advanced Excel concepts, mail merge in MS Word, customization of ChatGPT for professional use, and the use of Padlet for collaboration and information sharing. The programme was interactive and practice-oriented, helping officials directly apply learnings to their professional roles. Participants found the sessions highly relevant and fruitful, noting that the skills gained would significantly enhance efficiency in routine administrative tasks.

MDP on “Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen” at ICCS Noida

JIMS Kalkaji conducted a one-day MDP on “Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen” at ICCS Noida on 20th December 2025 for senior leadership. Key sessions included strategic mindset development by Dr. Nupur Rao, change management by Dr. Harvinder Soni, data-driven decision-making by Ms. Shilpi Yadav, process improvement by Dr. Rao, and compliance leadership by Dr. Soni. The programme focused on enhancing leadership skills, strategic thinking, and operational efficiency, concluding with a reflection on how to apply these insights in real-world scenarios.

MDP on Export Documentation and Methods of Payment for for NKT South Asia India Ltd.

Dr. Navneet Gera conducted a Management Development Programme for NKT South Asia India Ltd. on 22nd September 2025, focusing on "Export Documentation and Methods of Payment." The programme covered key topics like INCO Terms, export documentation (including Commercial Invoice and Bill of Lading), and various payment methods, with a special emphasis on Letter of Credit and the REX procedure for European exports. Participants engaged in case studies, including one on the export of electrical control equipment, which helped them apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios. The MDP was well-received for its practical insights and case-based learning, enhancing participants' understanding of export operations and boosting their confidence in managing complex trade processes.

MDP ON Cross-Functional Collaboration at ICCS Noida

The Management Development Programme (MDP) on Cross-Functional Collaboration was successfully conducted on September 19th, 2025, at ICCS Noida for 27 junior and middle-level employees across various departments. Facilitated by Dr. Saniya Chawla and Dr. Harvinder Soni, the program focused on enhancing communication and collaboration between departments to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. The sessions included activities such as Icebreakers, understanding cross-functional collaboration, communication style adaptation, trust-building strategies, and collaborative problem-solving. Participants engaged in practical exercises, including a "Message Relay Challenge" and a real-life case study, which helped them develop actionable strategies to overcome departmental silos and enhance teamwork. The program effectively equipped the employees with the skills needed to reduce conflicts, improve communication, and deliver better customer outcomes.

MDP on Formulate Wealth Management Strategies in a Fintech Platform

Jagannath International Management School, Kalkaji, successfully hosted a one-day Management Development Programme (MDP) on "Formulate Wealth Management Strategies in a Fintech Platform" on 14th February 2025, in collaboration with KISHAN CAP TRADE PRIVATE LIMITED. The program aimed to provide professionals with strategic insights on leveraging fintech solutions for effective wealth management in the digital era. Dr. Anju and Dr. Anuj Verma, experts in finance and fintech innovations, led the event, delivering practical knowledge on digital investment platforms, risk management, and strategic financial planning using fintech tools. Jagannath Research , Consultancy and Training Centre (JRCTC), under the aegis of JIMS Kalkaji recently conducted a one-day Management Development Programme (MDP) on Effective Team Building’ at ICCS, Noida on 8th February 2025. Chand and Company. The sessions covered a wide array of business skills required by modern corporates ranging from communication skills, efficient time management, leadership to strategic planning, consumer engagement and relevance of financial acumen in every manager today. The sessions were well received by participants and they felt engaged and participated enthusiastically in every activity designed for better understanding of these skills. In the end, it was an important lesson in appreciating that these traits are important as the real determinants for success.

The MDP on "Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication in Sales for Effective Customer Relationship" was conducted for Haldiram Snacks Food Pvt. Ltd. from 19th to 20th August 2022 at their Corporate Training Facility. The program, led by Dr. Gopika Kumar and Cdr. Satish Seth (Retd.), aimed to enhance the communication skills of the sales and customer-facing staff to foster stronger, trust-based relationships with customers. The HR Analytics – Making Informed Decisions MDP for S. Chand and Company was held from 13th to 15th March 2022 at the JIMS Conference Room. Led by Dr. Anju Shukla, Dr. Jyoti Kukreja, and Dr. Saniya Chawla, the program aimed to equip participants with the fundamentals of HR Analytics, focusing on data-driven decision-making. The 3-day session covered key HR metrics, data analysis using MS Excel, and applying insights to HR challenges.
