JIMS Kalkaji welcomed the new PGDM and PGDM(IB) batch of 2024-2026. Dr. Anuj Verma, Director, encouraged students to add 'Curiosity' to the three Cs: Competence, Confidence, and Communication. Dr. Amit Gupta, Chairman, advised on overcoming information overload and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The program began with a note from Dr. Jyoti Kukreja, followed by the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony. The orientation was comprehensive, integrating new students into the institution. Dr. Amit Gupta and Dr. Anuj Verma facilitated guests from Grant Thornton Bharat: Mr. Rahul Kapoor, Mr. Karan Jain, Mr. Triven Gupta, Mr. Siddharth Talwar, and Ms. Sheetal Jerath Sharma. Ms. Sharma inspired with her innovative approach, Mr. Jain guided on course details, Mr. Talwar emphasized curiosity and resilience, and Mr. Kapoor shared his entrepreneurial journey. Dr. Navneet Gera, HOD PGDM IB, extended the vote of thanks, highlighting the session's importance. Around 180 students attended, preparing for future careers. Post-lunch, Ms. Anupa Sen, Head of Placement, welcomed dignitaries and alumni, presenting the college report. Alumni Mr. Anshu Jha (TATA AMC Ltd.), Preet Kothiyal (Amazon), Shivam Dhaundiyal (L'Oreal), and Abhijeet Singh Sachdeva (Deloitte) shared memories and the benefits of college events. Dr. Jyoti proposed the final vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to alumni and event organizers, and acknowledging the management's support for the successful orientation program.
The second day of the PGDM and PGDM (IB) Orientation Program at JIMS Kalkaji began with a welcome by Ms. Shilpi Yadav. The aim of the ceremony was to familiarize new students with the curriculum, rules, regulations, teaching methodologies, placement process, and extracurricular activities of the institute. Dr. Saniya Chawla coordinated the session. The day began with an informative session by Dr. Mukul Mishra, Chief Exam Officer of JIMS Kalkaji, who discussed examination regulations, emphasizing academic integrity and detailing procedures for fair assessments. Dr. Nupur Rao then introduced students to JIMS Kalkaji’s cultural aspects, highlighting inclusivity, respect, and collaboration. Various student clubs were introduced, including the Marketing Club, Finance Club, Entrepreneurship Club, Cultural Club “Hunar,” Inter-Institutional Club, and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), each outlining their focus and activities to enhance students’ skills and engagement. The National Service Scheme (NSS) club outlined its community service programs, and Dr. Chawla presented the HR Club, focusing on human resource management through interactive events. Dr. Navneet Gera, HOD PGDM IB, provided an overview of academic regulations, the anti-ragging policy, and the Anti-Ragging Committee. Dr. Anuj Verma, Director of JIMS Kalkaji, delivered a session on wealth creation, sharing strategies for financial growth. The event concluded with a session by Mr. Mukul Chhabra, a notable entrepreneur from Shark Tank Season 2, who inspired students with his journey and experiences, offering valuable advice for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Under the dynamic leadership of Chairman Dr. Amit Gupta and the guidance of Director Dr. Anuj Verma and HOD Dr Navneet Gera, the first day (25th June, 2024) of Foundation Program for the PGDM and PGDM IB Batches (2024-26) at JIMS Kalkaji commenced on with a welcoming note by Dr. Saniya Chawla, followed by a traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony symbolizing the inauguration of the new academic session. The program, meticulously designed to integrate new students, featured interactive sessions like the Ice-breaking Session led by Dr. Nupur Rao and Dr. Jyoti Kukreja, fostering camaraderie among the 100 participants. A highlight was the inspiring journeys shared by Ms. Niharika Jain, founder of Broomees, and entrepreneur Ms. Anuva Kakkar, bridging academic learning with real-world corporate expectations. The event concluded with a Felicitation of Guest session, honoring the distinguished contributors. The wholehearted participation of students and faculty marked the program's resounding success.
Day 2 was successfully conducted on 26th June 2024 in the auditorium of JIMS Kalkaji. The event aimed to acquaint the new batch of PGDM students with opportunities in strategy and business consulting, insights into the startup ecosystem, and the development of entrepreneurial skills. The inaugural session commenced with a warm welcome speech by Dr. Jyoti Kukreja, Assistant Professor at JIMS Kalkaji, who introduced the dignitaries on stage. The first session of the day featured a welcome note and the JIMS Green Initiative, a mark of honor and gratitude, presented by Dr. Navneet Gera to the keynote speaker. Our first guest speaker, Mr. Aditya Yashvardhan, Associate Director at Grant Thornton Bharat, delivered an in-depth talk on business and financial planning, strategic initiatives, and business plan reviews. He guided the students on identifying growth opportunities, developing strategic roadmaps, and implementing effective business solutions. The second keynote speaker, Mr. Ashwin Bhatia, an internationally certified leadership coach, corporate trainer, and Strategy and Development Consultant, shared his insightful experiences and the prerequisites of setting up a new venture. His vibrant and thoughtful discourse was followed by another engaging Q&A session, allowing students to delve deeper into the nuances and myths of startups and the startup ecosystem. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Jyoti Kukreja and the presentation of a memento to Mr. Ashwin Bhatia. The event was a resounding success, providing valuable insights and inspiration to the students and the entire department.

Orientation on the "Campus to Corporate" session was organized for PGDM and PGDM (IB) 2022-24 Batch by JIMS Kalkaji on 17th July 2023 to gear up final-year students for placement activities. Dr. Saniya Chawla started the session with the importance of "Time Management" implying the Log Book Method, Priority Matrix, and the impact of the 80/20 rule to inhibit discipline in the work culture. The second session was taken forward by Dr. Gopika Kumar on SMART Goals of Students to be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-Bound Academic and Professional Targets. Next, Dr. Sanjeela Mathur briefed the students on the MOCK test the essential criterion of placements in the last 5-6 years followed by Interview preparations.This was followed by a lecture on "Effective Use of Social Media For Your Professional Journey" by Coursera Head, Mr. Aditya Rajdhan. Students had a quiet interactive session with Mr. Aditya on various professional certifications to enhance their resumes. Post lunch the session started with Dr. Anupa Sen briefing the students on Placement Pedagogy, In & Outs of various rounds. The last session was "Corporate Expectations" by Mr. Anshul Sehra, Alumni of JIMS 2011-13 batch. Students were keen to hear his journey from Campus to Corporate and within a short span how he realized the slogan 'Money attracts Money'.

JIMS Kalkaji welcomed the new batch, PGDM & PGDM (IB) 2023-2025 on July 3, 2023, an auspicious day of Guru Purnima. Dr. Anuj Verma, Director, JIMS Kalkaji welcomed and addressed the students in stretching their managerial mindsets to leadership with adding ‘Curiosity’ to the three prominent Cs: Competence, Confidence and Communication. Dr. Amit Gupta, Chairman, JIMS, addressed in his motivational address to the students to overcome the challenge of overload of information. He advised students to maintain a healthy work-life balance and academic rigour. GTB Expert CA Mr. Rahul Kapur, Partner Growth, delivered a stimulating address to our budding professionals. Mr. Shalabh Saxena, Partner Risk, GTB guided students for punctuality and regularity for maintaining attendance to enhance their professional skills set. Mr. Vishwanath P, Partner-Growth, CA Rajeev Jain, Director, GTB, Mr. Karan Jain, Director, CA Vivek Bansal, CA Mr. Kapil Jain and CA Mr. Deepak Agrawal, Director, Growth Advisory guided students on the various financial aspects such as Transfer Pricing, Due Diligence, etc.
The second day of the Orientation was held on July 4, 2023. The session aimed to familiarize the students with various aspects of the academic and extracurricular activities at the institute. The session began with various Clubs introduction followed by a guest lecture by Mr. Ashwin Bhatia, Corporate Trainer, Leadership Coach & a Motivational Speaker who spoke on Designing and Creating Success. Sessions on life at JIMS, academic regulations, academic calendar, roles and responsibilities of the Anti-Ragging Committee, Mentoring Cell, alumni interactions, examination regulations, time management, Foreign Language options and psychometric test were taken by JIMS Faculty members. Overall, the orientation session provided students with essential information and support to facilitate their smooth transition into the institute.

Jagannath International Management School, Kalkaji organized the two day Foundation programme for PGDM & PGDM (IB) 2023-2025 Batch on 21st and 22nd July 2022. The aim of the ceremony was to familiarize the students with the curriculum, rules and regulations, teaching methodologies, placement process and extracurricular activities of the institute. Students were addressed by Dr. Neelam Tandon & Dr. Navneet Gera, HODs, JIMS who welcomed and motivated the new batch to study with sincerity and excel in their academic and professional spheres of life. The event further had JIMS special Tank Tale Episode with Mr. Amit Bagga, CEO, CMO & Co-founder of Darganj Hospitality. He shared his Entrepreneurial Journey and Shark Tank experiences. Being the International Yoga Day on 21st June 2023, a session by Mrs. Bhawana Sharma, Yoga Instructor from Yoga Certification Board under Ministry of Ayush was organised to acquaint students with the significance of being their personal wellbeing and fitness. To embark on an enriching journey of knowledge and personal growth we had Mr. Ankit Jhamb, Chief Learning Officer from Grant Thornton Bharat who shared his views on Personality Upbringing & Soft Skill Development Aspects of the our Program. Another segment of the Foundation Day acquainted students with the another Tank Tale Episode with Geetika Gupta & Gaurav Gupta, Co-Founders & Chief Pilot – MOPP Foods. They also appeared on Shark Tank Season 2. They shared their experiences and their entrepreneurial roller-coaster and provided students learning with the significance of being a true professional in the corporate field. We witnessed the zeal, camaraderie, and determination of our future leaders as they immerse themselves in a dynamic learning experience. These two days set the stage for brilliance and ignite the passion within each student.

Also a special lecture on "Leadership Dynamics in the Evolving VUCA World" was taken by Mr. Vivek Kalia, Head Business Operations, Airbus. Vote of Thanks was given by Prof. Anuj Verma, Director, JIMS, Kalkaji and Dr. Navneet Gera, HOD, PGDM (IB) who enlightened and motivated all students with their encouraging words. Sessions on life at JIMS, introduction to JIMS Clubs, alumni interaction, academic and examination regulations, time management and psychometric test were taken by JIMS Faculty members.

A two-day Campus to Corporate for PGDM and PGDM (IB) batch 2021-23 was organized on July 18-19, 2022. Students were oriented for their interview skills and placements by Dr. Amit Gupta, Chairman, JIMS, Dr. Preeti Dhawan, Associate Professor, LSR, Dr. Anuj Verma, Director, JIMS Kalkaji, Dr. Gopika Kumar, Dr. Sanjeela Mathur, Dr. Navneet Gera, Dr. Mukul Mishra, Dr. Nupur Rao, Dr. Anju Shukla, Ms. Jyoti Kukreja and Ms. Shilpi Yadav, Ms. Anupa Sen, HOD Placements and Alumni. Mr. Udit Bhattacharji, Chief Guest took a session on "Creative transformation for better Job Opportunities" which was very motivating and inspitring for students.

The aim of the ceremony was to familiarize the students inducted with the curriculum, rules and regulations, teaching methodologies, placement process and extracurricular activities of the institute. North Region was organized to acquaint students with the signifance of being a true professional in the corporate field. Also a special lecture on "Expectation Management" was taken by Ms. Lata Singh, Founder-Director, Meraviglia EQ Academy. The innovative initiative by ANDC-JIMS Startup Incubator was introduced to the students by Mr. Shadab Mobin, CEO-Business Incubator, ANDC who shared insights on the entrepreneurship and start up culture at JIMS. key note address was taken by Dr. Ashok Sharma, Director, JIMS, Kalkaji who enlightened and motivated students with his encouraging words. Sessions on life at JIMS, Clubs, Corporate connect, ICE Breaking, hopes and fears & goal setting were taken by JIMS Faculty members.
