JIMS Lajpat Nagar organized the annual Inter Campus Presentation Competition on 08th October, 2018. The competition had 2 teams from Post Graduate Programme (Kalkaji and Greater Noida), and 4 teams from Under Graduate Programme The topic of the presentation was – “AADHAAR Status and Applicability post Supreme Court Ruling”. JIMS Kalkaji PGDM students, Victor Bhattacharya and B. Aakash bagged the award of excellence for their comprehensive presentation, effective delivery and discussion to the concept. They were given trophies and certificates.
JIMS Kalkaji organized an Inter Campus Quiz Competition – “QUIZATHON 2018: A Battle of Knowledge” on 7th September 2018 in its auditorium. Students from JIMS, Vasant Kunj, JIMS, Lajpat Nagar and JIMS, Greater Noida came to participate in teams The quiz comprised of multiple rounds including general awareness, history, geography, science, business, audio-visual and rapid fire. The teams had a hard fight against each other and finally, JIMS Kalkaji BBA-B.Com team of Mayank Sharma and Johnathon Abraham secured the first position. Victor Bhattacharya and Jatin, PGDM Students of 2018-20 batch won Certificate of Excellence. Garima Sharma and Aakash Khurana, team from JIMS Greater Noida came second.
JIMS Kalkaji organized “Inter Campus Summer Training Project Presentation Competition” on March 28, 2018 where students from all campuses participated and showcased their project work. The competition provided a platform for the students to develop a better connect with the industry practices and further to develop their research endeavor. Eight candidates from all JIMS campuses were shortlisted for the final round of presentation. Each participant was allocated 15 minutes for the presentation, followed by cross questioning by the jury . Team from JIMS Kalkaji stood second in the competition.
The Annual Chess Tournament was organized on March 23, 2018 at JIMS, Kalkaji, New Delhi. Students from all JIMS campuses participated with enthusiasm in both Girls and Boys Categories. The event saw swift matches on one hand and long games where the perseverance, patience and intelligence of participants were tested as Chess is a complicated mental game that helps the players to strategize, making optimum use of resources and achieve victory over competition.
Two Students of JIMS Kalkaji PGDM 2017-19 Batch, participated and won 1st and 2nd prize respectively, in an Inter Campus Debate competition organised by JIMS, Lajpat Nagar on 1st Feb, 2018. Topic for the debate was ‘IS GENDER EQUALITY RESTRICTED TO SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT?’ All campuses spoke vehemently on the issue and came up with their perspective regarding the same.
JIMS, Kalkaji organized a Patriotic Song Singing Competition: “Voice of India” in association with LG Electronics on 31st January 2018. Singing competition on Patriotic songs inspired the audience to be full of emotions of patriotism and love for nation. The students enjoyed singing on LG X-Boom which provided good Karaoke and DJ music experience. Anmol Mehta, PGDM 2017-19 batch who won PH2R from LG.

With the above ideal in mind, JIMS on 9.10.2017 organized an Inter Campus Presentation Competition on the theme “Waste management- Need of the Hour”. Urbanization is becoming a global phenomenon but its ramifications are being more pronounced in developing countries. Rapid population growth has challenged the capacity of municipal authorities to provide even basic services. The vision of ‘Clean India, New India’ is already a mammoth task which is getting complicated year-on-year. JIMS Kalkaji PGDM students, bagged the award of excellence for their comprehensive presentation and effective delivery and discussion to the concept.
As a part of the cleanliness drive - "Swachatta Pakhawada" an essay competition is being organised by JIMS Kalkaji on "What can I do to make India clean?" The objective of the program was to increase awareness and evoke sensitivity to virtues of sanitation and cleanliness and help India to go a step ahead in its Swachh Bharat Abhiyann. The PGDM students heartily participated in the competition. The PGDM students of JIMS Kalkaji also took part in the nation wide essay writing competition organised by Government of India by contributing their entries online in www. mygov.in.
Knowledge is infinite but time is limited
To enhance the business acumen of our students, JIMS Kalkaji conducted an 'Inter-Campus Quiz Competition' on September 14, 2017. The Quiz was all-inclusive as it included various general knowledge questions including Current Affairs, Business, History, Science, Geography, Sports. Students from all campuses of JIMS actively participated in this knowledge enhancing competition. The first prize was won by JIMS VK and second prize was won by JIMS Greater Noida..

After qualifying prelims, 6 teams went for stage finale, out of which Praveen Kumar Gupta and Bhawil Gulati secured 1st position and Pratibha Sahoo and Tushar Aggarwal won 2nd position. All the six teams of stage finale were given certificates and position holders were awarded with cash prizes as well
Keeping the above in mind, a debate competition was organized for PGDM and PGDM (IB) batch 2017-19 on the topic : ‘New India Manthon’ on August 24, 2017 under the guidelines instructions from AICTE. Various perspectives from history to futuristic, from criticism to appreciation and less discussed to more known..

The event was very popular as students turned out in large numbers to participate in the event. The students played with the robotic ball throwing machine which was a entirely new experience for them. The students were awarded prizes like tshirts, table tennis bats and key chains for achieving the benchmarks. The students were also given complimentary passes to attend the upcoming International Table Tennis Tournament organized by TTFI from July 21st-25th at Thyagaraj Stadium, New Delhi.
JIMS Kalkaji with immense proud congratulates Gunjeeta Puri, PGDM student and Parvee Kapoor, BBA student on being awarded 'Judge's special prize' for presenting in the research paper contest at Symposium: 'Transforming India through Digitization: Issues and Challenges' held at IITM, Janakpuri on April 1, 2017. The students won cash prize with certificates.
The students of JIMS KalkaJi participated and secured first position in the Inter campus case study competition held in JIMS Vasant Kunj on 22.03.17. The students were provided a case on the spot titled “The growth and journey of PAYTM”. The students were provided 45 minutes for preparation and analysis and 15 minutes for presentation. The event witnessed participation from several institutes and colleges. The winning students were congratulated by Dr. J.K. Batra Director JIMS KalkaJi on their achievement.
Annual Sports Day
JIMS Kalkaji organized Annual Sports Day on 27th Oct 2018 at DDA Sports Complex, Jasola, New Delhi. Students of PGDM 2018-20, Swati Chauhan and Juhi secured 1st position in doubles event of Table Tennis. Swati Chauhan also secured 1st position in singles event of Table Tennis. The cricket team of JIMS Kalkaji got runner up position. All winners were awarded Medals and certificates for the same.
The much awaited Annual JIMS Sports Tournament SPARDHA-2018 was held on March 29-30, 2018 at Jasola Sports Complex, New Delhi. The PGDM & PGDM (IB) Teams enthusiastically participated in sports like Cricket, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, and Football.
An Alumni Interaction builds affinity in the minds of the former students and encourages them to contribute for all round progress of their Alma matter. The JIMS Alumni Sports Day was organized on March 10,2018 at Netaji Subhash Sports Complex, Jasola, New Delhi.
JIMS celebrated its Annual Sports Day on 10th of November 2017 at Sports Complex, Jasola, New Delhi. The day was marked by the victories for some and misses for the others. The finals were played between different campuses of JIMS for various sports such as Badminton, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Cricket, basketball etc. All the matches were very close and entertaining.

JIMS Faculty and Staff members had a fun time on 15th June 2018 while watching first day first show of blockbuster movie "Race-3" staring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Holi was celebrated in JIMS Kalkaji campus with the usual fun and frolic and in the true spirit of camaraderie on Thursday, 01 March.
The 16th JIMS Annual Family Dayout was organised on 30th Dec' 2017 (Saturday). The event was attended by faculty & staff members of all JIMS campuses. It was a cool sunny day which involved the active participation of the faculty and staff members who enjoyed the day with fun games like Lemon-Spoon race, Kho-Kho, Passing Pass, Tambola and Badminton.
JIMS Kalkaji celebrated Teachers Day on 5th September, 2018 where students of PGDM and PGDM (IB) organized a function and gave an exemplified performance of duet and solo songs and dance performances.
