Markathon
Markathon 2024 was organized by Marquest, the esteemed Marketing Society of JIMS Kalkaji, New Delhi. The event featured seven meticulously designed game events, each crafted to challenge and entertain participants across the entire spectrum of marketing expertise. With approximately 200+ participants from different colleges such as SRCC, Hansraj, DCAC, Shivaji College, Trinity, RDIAS and more , Markathon 2024 witnessed a significant turnout, indicative of its growing popularity and relevance in the academic and professional spheres.
MARQUEST, the Marketing Club of JIMS Kalkaji organised its annual event MARKATHON’23 on 23rd March,2023. The event kickstarted with its first major event, Marketing Premier League where teams from renowned colleges participated. The winners for MPL were as follows : 3rd position was secured by Shubham Singh and Rudra Garg (DIAS), 2nd position was secured by Brahmadev and Anshaj (JIMS, Greater Noida) and the 1st position was backed by Keshav Agarwal and Abhinav Mishra(IMS Ghaziabad). The second event in line was Face Off. In which winners were as follows: 2nd position was backed by M Likhita and Vanshika Gupta from BBA. 1st position was secured by Shreya Sharma and Muskan Agarwal (JIMS Kalkaji). The third event was Marketing Lingo in which winners were as follows: 3rd position was secured by Harshal Naidu and Ananya Malhotra (Delhi University), 2nd position was secured by Harshit Garg and Anjali Singh (DIAS) AND 1ST position by Manan and Yatin Maavai (YMCA).
The fourth event under Markathon was Meme Marketing. The winners were as follows: There was a tie for 3rd position i.e., Garvita and Rudhra (DIAS) & Abhinav and Keshav (IMS Ghaziabad). 2nd position was secured by Yatin and Manan(YMCA) and 1st position was backed by Parth Bhatia and Shubham Adhikari(DIAS). The fifth event was Logo Remix. The winners for the event were as follows: 3rd position was secured by John Pius and Nandita Sharma (Jagannath Institute of Management Studies), 2nd position by Anjali Singh and Harshit Garg(DIAS) and 1st position was secured by Sania Relia and Shivani Gupta (Jagannath Institute of Management Studies). The last and final showdown of Markathon was Kabadi Bazaar. The winners were as follows: 3rd position was secured byHarshit Garg and Anjali Singh, 2nd position was secured by Shubham Singh and Garvita and 1st position by Shivansh and Aman Rana. The event was a great hit like previous years.
The Marketing Festival of JIMS, Kalkaji – MARKATHON 2022 was held on Saturday, 12th March, 2022.Teams from Delhi NCR colleges participated with great enthusiasm in the event. Competitions like AD-Mad, Meme Marketing, IPL Auction, Face-off challenge, Kabadi Bazaar, Logo Remix etc. were part of the event in which the teams exhibited creativity and innovation skills. There were six events in which first prize winners were awarded certificates and cash of Rs. 1000/-, second prize winners were awarded certificates and cash of Rs. 500/- and third prize winners were awarded certificates
1. AD MAD- a creative and intellectual poster/reel making competition in which 15 participants were there. 3rd prize -Riya Godwin, 2nd prize-Mallika Maini from JIMS, Kalkaji and 1st prize -Abdul Samad from JIMS, Kalkaji.
2. Meme Marketing- humorous and intellectual meme designing competitions in which 17 participants were there. 3rd prize - Himanshu Kumar Singh, 2nd prize - Ishita Sharma from JIMS, Kalkaji and 1st prize -Navyag Singh.
3. IPL Auction-339 participants played in various rounds like quiz, audio and video. 3rd prize - Manish and Kshitiz from JIMS, Kalkaji, 2nd prize - Suraj & Savitur from Hansraj College, and 1st prize - Sudip from Kirori Mal College.
4. Face-off challenge- debate competitions in which 14 participants were there.
5. Kabadi Bazaar- a very creative and intellectual product making competition. 3rd prize - Akshita & Ria, 2nd prize - Nitesh & Hritik from JIMS, Kalkaji, 1st prize - Aryan & Kunal.
6. Logo Remix- creative logo re-designing competitions in which 23 participants were there. 3rd prize - Roushan from Amity, 2nd prize - Komal from JIMS, Kalkaji, and 1st prize -Utkarsh from JIMS, Vasant Kunj.
Inter Campus
Moneytech, the finance club of Jims Kalkaji, Delhi, proudly hosted Arthkshetra 2024, a finance extravaganza held on February 9th. The event kicked off
with an insightful talk show, Finxpress, featuring industry experts Mr. Rohan Krishan and Mr. Nikhil Goendka from PWC Gurgaon. They delved into the
intricacies of "Tax aspects of merger & acquisition," providing valuable insights to our attendees.
The day unfolded with a series of exciting events:
Moneyholics: Teams presented their case for a chosen financial leader, showcasing their knowledge and analysis.
Trade Online: Participants put their trading skills to the test in a simulated market environment.
Finmaze: A financial puzzle hunt challenged participants to think critically and solve problems under pressure.
Merger Mingle: An innovative company auction event where teams strategized and negotiated to acquire the best companies.
Clash of Clans: The top performers from previous events battled it out for the coveted title of Finance King/Queen.
Dr. Sandeepa Kaur, the Head of the finance club, led the event with her enthusiasm and expertise. The event saw an impressive turnout, with 170
registrations from outside business schools in Delhi. The participation and feedback were overwhelming, making Arthkshetra 2024 a resounding success.
The E-Cell of JIMS Kalkaji, in collaboration with ANDC InStart Foundation, IIC and TEB, College of Vocational Studies, University of Delhi , organized a grand event-‘E-PRENEUR'23’, on November 6, 2023. The event brought together aspiring entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors to foster a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship.
E-PRENEUR'23 featured a speaker session as panel discussion on “Bridging the Skill Gap & Enhancing Entrepreneurial Education” involving “Mrs. Geetika Anand”, Founder MOPP & Mr. Harsh Goela & Mr. Aditya Goela, Founder Goela School of Finance. Various competitions like B-Plan, Market Kshetra, Venture Heist , Money Exchange and ‘Venture Haat’ saw participation of students from various colleges of Delhi- NCR. The events were designed to equip budding entrepreneurs & students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the business world. Participants gained insights into various aspects of entrepreneurship, from ideation and market research to funding and business plan development.
The fest also provided a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas and ventures. The Investor’s Pitch saw founders present their innovative concepts to a panel of investors, who provided valuable feedback and guidance.
E-PRENEUR'23 was a resounding success, generating immense enthusiasm among the participants and leaving a lasting impact on the JIMS Kalkaji community. The event has set a new benchmark for entrepreneurship initiatives at the institute and fueled the spirit of innovation among students.
An Inter Campus Debate Competition was organized by JIMS VK II on the topic: ‘Social Media does more harm than good’ on March 13, 2023. A team of students comprising Dipshi Nair and Nishika Mathur from PGDM A & PGDM B, 2022-24 respectively participated. The points of social media heralded a revolution in digital marketing outweighed by cyber-crimes and intrusion of privacy. Friends and followers on social media need to be handled with care and caution while social anxiety and depression are getting rampant due to it. The competition got intense but given the fact of their extensive preparation and practice, they both won First Position in the competition.
MoneyTech, the Finance club of JIMS Kalkaji, under the guidance of Dr. Sandeepa Kaur with a mission to spread Financial Awareness had conducted two days event from 13th & 14th January, 2023. There were three events Money-Holics, Fin-Maze, and Trade-on-Line and the winners of first three events were shortlisted to finale round “Clash of clans”. Students from more than 30 colleges participated namely Symbiosis, Narsee Monjee, Indian Institute of Forest Management, Rajdhani College Delhi University, Delhi Technical University and many more took part in the event. With more than 200 participations in total, 3 winners were announced leading to the finale of the ArthKshetra 2023 which was Clash of Clans. The first event was of “Moneyholics” where participants were required to enlighten about their role model in financial world and their input towards the economy. In this 15 shortlisted teams presented their presentation on various financial leaders and a questionnaire round was conducted just after the presentation of each team. Eventually, the First position was secured by Nishika Mathur & Kanak Sharma of JIMS Kalkaji, the second position was secured by Ananya Bansal JIMS Kalkaji & Shreya Sharma JIMS Kalkaji, and Third position was secured by Ananya Malhotra of DU. Second Event of “FIN MAZE” which was organized on 13th January 2023. Vaibhav Saraf from Saint Xavier, Kolkata stood 1st, followed by Anjali Kumar from symbiosis institute of health science stood 2nd, followed by Animesh Seth from VIT, Vellore institute of technology who bagged 3rd position. A Trading Competition was held on January 14, 2023, and was organized on the second day of “Arthkshetra 2023”. Muskan Agarwal stood 1st position followed by Aditya Gupta stood 2nd position, followed by Srinivas & Mohit Garg who bagged 3rd position. The final competition Clash of Clan held on January 14, 2023. The participants were the winners of all the events held in two days of the Arthkshetra 2023 competitions. The competition was divided into 3 rounds. The three rounds were: Caso de studio, Fin-Talk, and Finance quiz. The Final War of Finance was won by Aman Gupta securing 1st position followed by Aditya Gupta - 2nd position and Harshal and Ananya who bagged 3rd position. In total for the events Cash prizes of Rs. 11000 were begged by the students.
Inter-Institutional Club, PGDM Department of JIMS Kalkaji proudly added another feather to its cap with Dipshi Nair and Shreya Sharma, PGDM Students winning First Position in the Inter Campus Presentation Competition held on October 10, 2022. Ms. Jyoti Kukreja, Club Head, IIC guided them to the highest level of excellence. Their Presentation on the topic of Digital and E-commerce expansion triggered by Covid-19 won accolades and loads of appreciation from not only the judges but the other participants as well.
The JIMS ANNUAL CHESS TOURNAMENT 2022 was organized by the Sports Club of JIMS Kalkaji, New Delhi on 2nd & 3rd March, 2022 at JIMS Kalkaji Campus. The tournament was organized with the aim of selecting the best chess players. A total of 48 chess players participated in the trial rounds. The final round matches comprised of 8 boys and 8 girls. The tournament was a much anticipated championship as it was organized with a view to develop a composite chess culture in the college campus and develop a strategic thinking and planning among the students. In the final Inter JIMS Chess Tournament 2022, teams from all 4 JIMS campuses participated. In the girls category, the second runner up was Charu Aggarwal from Greater Noida Campus and the First runner up was Manya Gandhi from JIMS VK 1 Campus. The tournament in this category was won by Tanvi Khillari from JIMS VK1. In the boys category, the second runner up was Aman Arora from JIMS VK1 Campus and the first runner up was Shrey Madaan from JIMS Greater Noida Campus. The tournament in this category was won by Gunin Malik from JIMS Kalkaji.
An Inter Campus Debate Competition was organized by JIMS VK II on the topic: 'The Print Media will gradually Succumb to the Digital Onslaught' on February 10, 2022. A team of students comprising Rajshree and Divyanshu participated. Rajshree mentioned that digital media is all rampant and would soon take over the print media. Digital media is all about live videos and images and thus has a wider scope in the business world. Given the extensive preparation and practice, she won First Position in the competition.
Annual Sports Day
The Sports Club of JIMS Kalkaji organized Spardha 2025 a Intra college sports meet aimed at enhancing students’ team work and sportsmanship. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of BBA , BCOM & PGDM who gathered to showcase their athletic prowess and team spirit.
The sports meet began with motivating speech of respected director sir Dr. Anuj Verma followed by opening match of director sir and sports coordinator Dr. Mukul Mishra. The sports meet was a resounding success, with all participants displaying exceptional sportsmanship and enthusiasm. We congratulate all the winners and thank everyone who contributed to making this event a memorable one.
It wasn’t just about the wins—it was about coming together, supporting one another, and celebrating the power of sports to unite us all. JIMS Kalkaji clinched 10 category wins in Annual Sports Meet 2025 showcasing unmatched dedication and team spirit🏆

The prize distribution function was held at the venue in the presence of Dr. Amit Gupta, Chairman, JIMS, Senior Faculty Members and sports coordinators from all campuses. Chairman sir while congratulating the winners emphasized the virtues of playing a sport leading to a healthy body and healthy mind. It was a two days event which took place in DDA sports complex.

The much awaited Annual JIMS Sports Tournament SPARDHA-2022 was held on November 04, 2022 at Jasola Sports Complex, New Delhi. The PGDM & PGDM (IB) Teams enthusiastically participated in sports like Cricket, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton and Football. The students were happy and cheerful and participated in the sports with enthusiasm. More than 150 students participated in the daylong event. Their classmates were present in strength to cheer and support their respective teams and players. The prize distribution function was held at the venue in the presence of the Senior Faculty Members and Alumni of JIMS Kalkaji. The Faculty Coordinators discussed the virtues of a healthy body which leads to a healthy mind and various academic benefits. The students were advised to play games with sportsmanship and accept both victories and defeats with grace. In the end the function closed with a vote of thanks by Dr. Mukul Mishra, Associate Professor, JIMS, Kalkaji and Sports Club Coordinator, congratulating the students on the successful conduct of the Tournament.

The Teachers' Day celebration on September 4, 2025, was filled with gratitude and vibrant cultural performances, including dances and games, honoring the contributions of teachers. The Director's speech emphasized the importance of education in shaping responsible citizens, and the event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and gifts for teachers. Dr. Shiran Khan delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing appreciation for everyone's efforts in making the event memorable.

The Teacher’s Day celebration at JIMS Kalkaji on 5th September 2024 was a heart warming and joyous event, organized by the Hunnar Cultural Club. The celebration was held in the college auditorium and witnessed enthusiastic participation from both PGDM and PGDM-IB students (2024-2026 batch) and faculty members alike.

On the 5th of September 2023, the Cultural Club of JIMS Kalkaji held its annual event to celebrate Teacher’s Day and conduct the Badge Ceremony. The event commenced with a beautiful lamp lighting ceremony, graced by the presence of all the esteemed faculty members. Following this, various games were started with in which teachers participated. After the enjoyable games, the event transitioned to the Badge Ceremony. Respected Director Sir distributed badges to the faculty coordinator of all 14 clubs. A memorable group photograph was taken with the Director, Faculty Coordinator, and all the post holders. Furthermore, badges were also bestowed upon the Academic Representatives (AR) and Class Representatives (CR) of each section. The special event was concluded with a heartwarming cake-cutting ceremony, where all the faculty members actively participated. The event was an absolute success, thanks to the dedication and hard work of our faculty coordinators and student coordinators. Their efforts ensured that Teachers Day and the Badge Ceremony were celebrated in a memorable and joyous manner.

JIMS Annual Faculty & Staff Picnic was organized on Saturday, 24th December, 2022. The event was attended by faculty & staff members of all JIMS campuses. It was a cool sunny day which involved the active participation of the HODs, faculty and staff members who enjoyed the day with fun games like Cricket, Pass-in-pass, Zumba etc. Honorable Chairman Sir and Directors from all campuses also graced the occasion.

The Teacher's day event was held on 5th September 2022 in the college auditorium. The event was hosted and organised by the Cultural Club of the college. It was an informal and a fun event organised for all the teachers, comprising of interesting games and activities. Everyone enjoyed to their fullest. Director Dr. Anuj Verma's presence was much appreciated. Chairman sir, Dr. Amit Gupta also graced the occasion which added fervor to the celebration. Teacher's showed their talents including dancing, singing and a lot more. The event ended with cake cutting ceremony.
