Artificial Intelligence has been defined as \u201c<em>a constellation of technologies that extend human capabilities by sensing, comprehending, acting and learning \u2014 allowing people to do much more<\/em>\u201d&nbsp;\u2013 Accenture Definition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In human resources, <a href=\"http:\/\/jagannath.org\">artificial intelligence<\/a> is used to make processes more efficient. A company can build a competitive advantage by making optimum use of data. Human Resources are strongly benefitted by usage of artificial intelligence in data and various knowledge management processes. Corporate are using AI to enhance their growth. AI based solutions have been proposed corresponding to the rising problems in the industries. Challenge for recruiter these days is to find a suitable job profile and eliminate the irrelevant profiles amongst the large pool of candidates. Challenge for job seeker is to find perfect job that suits their profile and cater to their interest area. AI contributed in solving this critical problem of both recruiter and job seeker. &nbsp;Artificial intelligence assist in setting a job search preference corresponding to &nbsp;job descriptions. Matching algorithm is used by recruiter to facilitate the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Behaviour of job seekers can be tracked through AI leading to a pool of only genuine job seekers. AI also helps in tracking emotions of job seekers. Facial recognition technology is already in use in different countries to track the candidates giving entrance exam.\u00a0 Job applicants these days are expected to pass through <a href=\"http:\/\/jagannath.org\">applicant tracking system (ATS) <\/a>before formal interviewing process by manager. ATS helps in sorting bulk resumes received for a job posting. AI helps in preparing manageable list of recommendations for HR professionals. AI gives\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0detailed recommendations to both recruiters and job seekers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In digital era, frauds in the hiring process have become common. AI helps in tracking fraud. &nbsp;Artificial intelligence made it easier to evaluate job description and profile of recruiters. Job search preference and candidate profile can be easily evaluated through artificial intelligence. &nbsp;Interview process is facilitated with artificial with smart evaluations. Interviewer biasness is also removed through artificial intelligence. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>3)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>&nbsp;Internal Mobility and Employee Retention<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Lateral and vertical movement of employee within an organisation is termed as internal mobility. AI not only helps in improvement of recruitment process in organisations but also help in employee retention and mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/jagannath.org\">Employee engagement<\/a> and job satisfaction are key indicators of employee success, could be mapped through feedback mechanism by usage of AI. \u00a0Measuring employee engagement and job satisfaction index help management in taking promotion decision that eventually drive internal mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4) <strong>Automation of Administrative Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Human resources professionals are engaged into various administrative tasks like updating internal database, maintaining personnel records, documentation process and revising company policies.
